The first visit to the dentist

At the Chêne-Bourg Dental Center, we recommendthat childrenhavetheir first dental visitbefore the age of 2. This visit provides personalized advice onoral hygieneand nutrition tailored to eachchild. It also aims to help the child become familiar with the dental center environment, ensuring that future treatments go smoothly.

The goal of the first visit is to build a relationship oftrustwith the dentists. To familiarize children with dental instruments from a very young age. To make these visits a positive and enjoyable experience for the child, and to introduce them to the dental team: the dentist, the dental hygienist, and the dental assistants.

Caries prevention

Toothdecayis caused bybacteria found indental plaquethat feed on the sugar in food. Dental care for children
