Mandibular Advancement Splint
Sleep Apnea and Snoring
The Centre Dentaire Chêne-Bourg, in collaboration with pulmonologists, sleep specialists and the SomnoMed laboratory, offers a comfortable, non-invasive solution for people suffering from chronic snoring or mild to moderate sleep apnea.
What is sleep apnea?
Sleep apnea is characterized by involuntary pauses in breathing during the night. If left untreated, these interruptions can lead to fatigue, daytime sleepiness, poor concentration and even cardiovascular risks.
One of the most common signs? Snoring.
A made-to-measure solution: the mandibular advancement splint
On medical prescription, we make custom-made snoring splints, known as mandibular advancement orthoses (M.A.O.). These devices are manufactured in partnership with SomnoMed, the reference laboratory in Europe.
🔹 Discreet and comfortable
🔹 Tailor-made for each patient
🔹 Removable and easy to maintain
🔹 Effective alternative to CPAP (mask) in mild to moderate cases

A coordinated approach with sleep specialists
We work hand in hand with sleep physicians to ensure coordinated follow-up and a solution perfectly adapted to your situation. Once a diagnosis has been made, your doctor can prescribe a SomnoMed splint, which we design at the Centre Dentaire Chêne-Bourg.
Thanks to our collaboration with specialists, we receive patients on medical prescription, with a clear diagnosis of mild to moderate obstructive sleep apnea, or simple snoring.
We then provide complete dental care:
- Clinical examination and digital impressions
- Custom orthosis manufacture with SomnoMed laboratory
- Trials, adjustments and personalized follow-up
The orthosis moves the lower jaw slightly forward during sleep, freeing the airway and reducing snoring or apnea.
A solution available at the Centre Dentaire Chêne-Bourg
Our teams are trained and equipped to offer this treatment at both the Centre Dentaire Chêne-Bourg and the Centre Dentaire Lancy. You benefit from fast, personalized, local treatment.
